Die Hochwasserkatastrophe in Ostsachsen, welche Anfang August viele Ortschaften und Städte überspülte, ist noch in vielen Köpfen gegenwärtig. Besonders aber in denen der Bürgerinnen und Bürger, denen dabei großer Schaden entstanden ist. Der Stadtfeuerwehrverband Görlitz e.V. ruft daher zu Spenden auf.

Seinen 100. Geburtstag feierte am 16.07.2010 Kamerad Brandmeister Reinhold Erler mit vielen Freunden, Bekannten und alten Weggefährten. Zu den Gratulanten zählte auch eine Abordnung der Feuerwehr Mulda und dessen Blasorchester. Das überbrachte Ständchen erfreute den langjährigen Blasmusikfan besonders.

The Fire Department Technical Center in Mittweida is, after a construction period of almost 2 years, now were officially handed over by District Administrator Volker Uhlig. The construction costs amounted to around 2.1 million euros, with 711,000 euros in funding the State of Saxony were incorporated.
